E-CLUB PROGRAM

PRESIDING TODAY IS:  Jeffrey Tinnell, Vice President

bellDing! We’re now in session.

Welcome all – Visitors, fellow Rotarians and guests alike to this E-Club program!

Remember the smiling pot. Donations to our E-Club help support our service projects.

We’d like to respectfully remind all visitors that if they would like to contribute the normal cost of a meal for your makeup, we would be grateful. These funds go directly to our many and varied service projects around the world. You can make a contribution in the Donation box on the homepage. Or you can write a check to:  Rotary E-Club of District 7530 and mail it to Treasurer MSRE, 115 Hoffman Avenue, Morgantown, WV 26505.

Four-Way Test

At the beginning of each meeting we remind ourselves of the The Four-Way Test.  Therefore, please remember to ask yourself always . . .

Of the things we think, say or do:

  1. Is it the TRUTH?
  2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
  3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
  4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

A Reflective Moment

A Light Moment

Program:  Critical thinking and the political season

As we enter the homestretch of this election season remaining a good citizen, good sport and quality leader is important. The current political climate certainly has not made this easy.  Social media has made it even worse. Let’s face it, more than a few of us have had that Facebook moment where you think an old friend may have just lost their mind. As the political rhetoric and discourse grows, we need to remain true to our core values. Leadership comes with a steady hand, of strength and integrity. The Rotarian four-way test is a prime example of such values.

I came across an article that spoke to me as it pertains to everything going on around me as the election nears. So regardless of your political viewpoint, stance or leanings, we are all in this together. I hope you enjoy the article.
