This Week's Meeting

Presiding today is Jeffrey Tinnell, President MSRE Club
Ding! We're now in session.
Welcome all - Visitors, fellow Rotarians and guests alike to the E-Club meeting for the week of
December 1, 2021!
Four-Way Test
At the beginning of each meeting we remind ourselves of the The Four-Way Test.  Therefore, please remember to ask yourself always . . .
Of the things we think, say or do:
  1. Is it the TRUTH?
  2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
  3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
  4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
Reflective Moment: “The unselfish effort to bring cheer to others will be the beginning of a happier life for ourselves.” – Helen Keller

Community Service

Community service is unpaid work performed by a person or group of people for the benefit and betterment of their community.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. I wanted to share with our members some great news and let everyone know you are a part of an active club, yes, we make our contributions to the Rotary Foundation and support the global initiatives it leads, however, our E-Club does make worthy impact within our communities.

Past President Bonnie Branciaroli began our club participation in the "Run For It" event sponsored by the Tucker County (WV) Foundation. The 2021 event was a great success and our Running for Rotary team raised $3,343.59. The proceeds go towards a food backpack program in Barbour County WV led by the Heart and Hand Organization. Previously our club became involved with a Head Start Book project with the North Central West Virginia Community Action Association championed by former club president Diana Martinelli and our E-Club has continued to participate through 2021.

These examples are something we all can be proud of and shows the impact an individual and a group can have on others. Moving forward, I would ask each member to reflect on areas of action we may be missing out on, where we may become involved as a club and how best to incorporate into our future plans.

Thanks for participating and have a great week.
